Relieving the Boredom

I've had several rather quiet shifts at work recently, fortunately if I have a pen and paper, there's always a way to relieve the boredom!

 

If I had an enemy bigger than my apathy...

 

There are good day and there are bad days. Everyone knows that. Everyone has that. But recently the clouds above your head have all been a darker shade of grey, and you can't find the sunshine to shift them. You just want to be fixed, someone to come and fix you...a knight in shining armour. They are rather thin on the ground these days. And knowing that the only person who can or is going to fix you is yourself makes the clouds rather heavier. When the tears come they almost a relief, its a relief to feel something. Something, anything, when life is full of nothings...

 

...If I had an enemy bigger than my apathy, I could have won...

 

...at least it might have been easier, if you knew what you were fighting.
